||[23 Feb 08]*** Richard films commercial
for 2008 Cadillac DTS DeVille Touring Sedan ***
-- Richard spent
part of late January filming a commercial for the 2008 Cadillac DTS
DeVille Touring Sedan. He joins a growing roster of television and
film actors -- Kate Walsh ("Grey's Anatomy," "Private Practice"),
and Martin Henderson ("The Ring," "Torque") driving the Cadillac
CTS, and Brian Bloom ("Smokin' Aces," "Drive") driving the Cadillac
Escalade -- who have recently filmed commercials for Cadillac vehicles.
While little is presently known of the commercial, we assume it will
be stylistically similar to those for the Cadillac CTS and Escalade, which
have generally featured exciting night-time shots of the various vehicles
intercut with interior shots of the vehicles and the actors driving while
delivering their lines.
As with the earlier Cadillac commercials, we expect Richard's to be
added to the Cadillac website when it premieres on television.

||[23 Feb 08]*** Richard's episode
of "Just Shoot Me" airs on TVLand cable channel ***
-- Richard plays
action hero -- and Mama's boy -- Robert "The Nomad" Galatin
in "Mum's The Word."
Nina Van Horn (Wendie Malick) is returning to the Blush offices
when she literally walks into famed action hero Robert Galatin, who is
filming an episode of "The Nomad" on the sidewalk outside.
Each is immediately smitten with the other and Robert is soon eagerly
pursuing Nina, appearing in the Blush offices with flowers in tow. Nina
accepts Robert's invitation to an evening of romance, never expecting to
be joined by Robert's diminutive, yet domineering, mother.
Natually, the two women are almost immediately at odds, and Nina tells
Robert he must send the aged materfamilias packing if he expects to win
her affections. Robert quickly gives Mother her marching orders and
turns his eye towards the approving Nina. Unfortunately, Mother's hold
on her son is strong, and the sight of her shawl sends Robert reeling,
becoming increasingly frantic and filled with doubt until he is bawling.
When an insistent tapping on the door proves to be Mother, Robert crops
to his knees and wraps his arms around her, crying "Oh, Mother, Mother,
never leave me, never-never!"
Nina takes one look at the shocking tableau and quits the scene in disgust
while Mother Victorious smirks at her.

||[23 Feb 08]*** Richard's episode
of "Seinfeld" to air on TBS ***
-- Richard appears in "The
Hamptons," where he joins Jerry, Kramer, George, and Elaine at the
beachside house of friends who've recently had a baby. Richard plays Dr.
Ben Feffa, the couple's pediatrician who is also invited along for the
When Ben describes her as "breathtaking," Elaine is quite flattered,
and soon taken with the handsome doctor. Then She, Jerry, Kramer, and George
get a good look at the baby Dr. Ben has also described as "breathtaking"
-- and realize the child is breathtakingly ugly.
Confused and more than a little alarmed to be described with the same
word as the hideous infant, Elaine frets and kvetches until she finally
works up the nerve to ask Ben exactly what "breathtaking" means to him.
Of course, the conversation does not go well, and Elaine's potential romance
with the good doctor dies a-borning.
Meanwhile, George also manages to derail a potential romance by
fixating on what he perceives as his girlfriend's disappointment with his
impedimenta -- seems a swim in the ocean has resulted in some unfortunate
degree of "shrinkage."

||[23 Feb 08]*** Richard's Season
4 episodes of NBC's "Las Vegas" to air in syndication on TNT ***
Richard's three back-to-back Season 4 episodes of "Las Vegas" begin airing
on TNT on Friday, February 29th at 12:00 noon ET. Originally airing
on NBC in early 2007, the three episodes set up scenarios that lead into
the cliffhanger season finale.
"Bare Chested in the Park," which airs at 12:00 noon on Friday,
February 29th, introduces us to one of the Bellagio Hotel's regular
"whales," Vince (Richard Burgi) Peterson, a hedge-fund billionaire
with a taste for high-stakes gambling. Sam (Vanessa Marcil) schemes
to woo Peterson away from the Bellagio and sees to it that he is coddled,
cosseted, and carefully cultivated at the Montecito.
"Junk in the Trunk," which airs on Monday, March 3rd, finds Sam
the new owner of the Montecito, and one saddled with an overwhelming tax
debt. Peterson wines, dines, and woos Sam, going so far as to propose marriage
on bended knee. Lured to his suite for a romantic dinner, Sam learns Peterson
has known all along of her financial situation. Of course, she's been sipping
on a drugged flute of champagne the whole while and passes out, allowing
Vince to truss her up and stuff her into a padded steamer trunk.
"Heroes" airs on Tuesday, March 4th and finds Sam in dire straits,
still locked away in the cramped trunk. The depth of Peterson's depravity
becomes increasingly evident as he gleefully taunts and torments her --
seems he's done this before, this abduction of young women, and gotten
away with it. Sam is promised a hell on earth as Vince checks out of the
Montecito and heads for his private jet, Sam in tow in her tiny trunk.
Their chapter ends with Vince's jet soaring into the night.

||[23 Feb 08]*** Catch Richard
when "Decoys" airs on The Sci Fi Channel -- Sunday, March 2nd at 3:00am
ET *** -- Richard plays Det. Francis Kirk in the Canadian-made
tongue-in-cheek blend of sci-fi and horror.
*** NOTE: 3:00 am Sunday is considered part of Saturday night's programming
schedule at SciFi ***
Richard made a quick trip to Ottawa, Canada, during March and
April 2003 for his role in "Decoys," which director
described as "American Pie meets Species" -- a sci-fi thriller
set on a college campus. According to the script, Richard's Detective Kirk
is "a young cop who knows that he won't be in this small town busting college
students for party pranks for much longer. He thinks he belongs somewhere
between NYPD Blue and the cover of GQ."
The "Species" connection comes into play in the form of the beautiful
yet otherworldy young women who descend upon the college campus in search
of healthy and libidinous young men. Much as in Richard's 1998 version
of "I Married a Monster," alien beings come to Earth in search of
mates -- only this time, it's the Outer Space womenfolk who are eager to
reproduce. Unlike their Monster counterparts, these alien "femmes" are
quite literally "fatales," as their reproductive process leaches the body-heat
right out of their unfortunate paramours.
Kirk becomes involved when the extraterrestrial temptresses leave
a string of frozen young men in their wake.
