It's that time of year again...
The Richard Burgi Fan Club has sponsored an online charity
auction! (We're also sponsoring a charity
raffle).
All proceeds -- every last dime -- will go to our current charity,
the Orange County Bird of Prey Center. The OCBPC
is a small raptor shelter located in El Toro, California. They are
staffed entirely by volunteers, and run on a shoe-string budget. We'd like
to help them out with their goals of education, rehabilitation and release.
The auction began at 6pm EST, Thursday, April 6th, and continued
through 9pm EST, Sunday, April 9th. Bids were accepted throughout this
period, and the high bids for each item were posted periodically here at
the auction webpage and on the auction list.
Bidding took place via e-mail and the high bids for each
item were posted periodically to both this auction page and the auction
list.
Bids could also be sent using email links on this auction page.
Bids were placed by browsing through the item
catalog below and clicking on the item number beside each
picture
(101, 201, etc) which brought up a pre-addressed, pre-labeled e-mail message.
Minimum starting bid for each item was US$10.00
Okay, that's the logistical stuff. Now on to a more interesting

and show information, as well as four signed B&W photos -- Richard

-- "The Sentinel" fourth season press kit. Produced by UPN/Paramount,
the press kit would be used to familiarize entertainment industry reporters
and organizations with "The Sentinel" and the the principal cast
members. The press kit includes press releases with production information,
production notes, fan campaign information, an exploration of Jim Ellison's
E.S.P. (Elevated Sensory Perception), and biographical information on the
actors, the characters, and the show itself, along with four signed B&W
photos -- one each of Richard Burgi, Garett Maggart, and Bruce A. Young
and a group shot of all three. The kit also includes four color slides
of the principal cast.
